Church Softball League!Welcome, sports fans! The Advent Swingers is the softball team of the Church of the Advent, and competes in the Boston Metro Church Softball League. Our roster is composed of members of the congregation. We, the mighty and intrepid Swingers, are dedicated to building community, fellowship, and fun among church members who love to play and follow sports. The team is open to any member of the church who is aged 18 or older. Come join us on the field or root us on from the stands!
The 2011 season begins on June 25, and games are played on most Saturdays through September. Immediately after the games, we love to hit the local pub and either toast to a glorious victory or drown our sorrows in a refreshing beverage.
