The flowers at the High Altar and around the Church are given to the Glory of God and in loving memory of Mary Evans Fox on the anniversary of her death.
If you are visiting or new to the Advent, we hope that you will feel welcome and at home. Please fill out a visitor’s/newcomer’s card so that we will have a record of your visit here and can keep in touch.
All persons baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit are invited to the Altar to receive the Body and Blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you wish to receive a blessing, come to the Altar and cross your arms over your chest.

This morning we are very pleased to welcome the 22-voice Choir of Sidney Sussex College, from the University of Cambridge in England. Under the direction of conductor-scholar David Skinner, the Choir is a major focus of College life, and during term time the Choir has a regular commitment in the Chapel to Choral Evensong on Fridays and Sundays and Latin Choral Vespers on Wednesdays. Please welcome and thank them for their gift of choral music.
If you wish to receive the Body of Christ upon your tongue, please open your mouth and extend your tongue slightly, so that the person administering the Sacrament may place the wafer on your tongue.
If you wish to receive the Blood of Christ by Intinction, leave the wafer in your outstretched hands. The person administering the chalice will take it, dip it in the consecrated wine and place it on your tongue. Do not attempt to dip the wafer into the chalice yourself. This practice risks unsanitary accidents and is irreverent and unseemly.
If you do not wish to receive the Sacrament, cross your hands over your chest, and you will receive a blessing.
C. S. Lewis is coming to Boston! Can you help? The Fellowship for Performing Arts is presenting C. S.
